Alright, time to fill up his cauldron. Kane had to get the purified water from someplace other than his wand, so he walked up to the potions cupboard and began to shift things around until he found it. He grinned and picked up the vial, which would be more than enough. He walked back to his station and filled the cauldron up with the purified water before taking his sneezewort petals and dropping them in. He then picked up his wand and pointed at the base of his cauldron. "Incendio!" he muttered, smiling as a bright fire lit up the base of his cauldron. He turned up the heat so it was at the maximum strength and then moved on.

Now for the HEAD of the sneezewort. Plop plop plop. He added all eight flower heads to the cauldron, then promptly grabbed his metal stirrer. He popped it in and stirred his potion eight times clockwise, as instructed. Once that was done, he picked up the berries and dropped each one carefully into the potion.

He felt kind of like he was making potpourri, not a potion...with all these berries and flowers and whatnot. No WONDER it smelled so good...

Sprinke the alihotsy leaves in a clockwise circle? Ok...he picked them up between his fingers and started dropping them in the cauldron, starting at the top and moving his way around as he did so. Once he made his way around the cauldron, he had dropped them all in. Ok, so next was...wave your wand. Easy enough. He did so, watching with delight as it turned dark red. MMMM, it looked sort of good - and he was sort of sad he wouldn't get to taste it. Someone else would, though...

And now he had to wait. For twenty five minutes to be exact, which felt like FOREVERRRRR.

SPOILER!!: Notebook for reference

Ingredients
8 flower heads of sneezewort (seperate the petals beforehand)
8 berries of atropa belladonna
8 chopped leaves of Alihotsy (prepared beforehand)
One frozen ashwinder egg broken in 8
8 tea spoons of powdered moonstone
All the thorns of 8 roses
8 drops of salamander blood
8 table spoons of peppermint

Instructions
Prepare the sneezewort, alihotsy and moonstone.
Fill the cauldron with purified water and add the sneezewort petals
Light a fire under the cauldron and set it to maximum
Add the heads of the sneezewort
Stir 8 times clockwise with a metal stick
Add the berries of atropa bellandonna one by one
Sprinkle Alihotsy leaves in a circle in clockwise direction
Wave your wand. The colour should turn to dark red
Wait for 25 minutes for pewter cauldrons, 13 for brass and 8 for copper
In the meantime, break the egg into 8. If you break it into more pieces accidentally, get another egg.
When the time is up, add the egg parts
Stir vigorously clockwise with a metal stick until the colour is purple
Sprinkle the moonstone in the middle of the cauldron
Throw all the thorns in quickly
Add the drops of salamander blood one by one: with each drop, observe that the potion turns to its distinctive mother-of-pearl sheen.
Add the peppermint spoon by spoon. Stir clockwise with a metal stick slowly until it dissolves.
Wave your wand again.
Put off the fire when you see the spiral steams and smell its aroma.
