SUMMER FOREVER

Etta knew that the work-station was a bad idea the second she had noticed the branch above her move. It was way too close to the tree.. a late realisation, unfortunately. Obviously, she should have made a run for it. What had she been thinking? The problem was that she clearly hadn't been thinking at ALL and it was a stupid mistake.. but anyway, it wasn't too late now, was it? Her eyes were still focused on the tree, scared to shift her attention anywhere else even for the slightest second. The Willow was unpredictable and now that it looked like it was slowly coming alive, she had to think fast. Her immediate thought was to run but no.. too late. Too late.

WOAH!

She quickly ducked and rolled out of the way as a huge branch, a branch that looked double her size, suddenly came swinging in her direction, aiming straight for her head. Wow, that was a narrow escape. She got back on her feet, her gaze flickering towards the vials on the workstation. They seemed safe and sound luckily.. for now, at least. Her first plan of action was to move them to a more secure location where they would be completely out of reach from the nasty branches of the Willow. At this point, thanks to her increased speed, she just about managed to dodge the branches that now came swinging low.. aiming for legs. What was it's problem? Not the point now, Etta. Concentrate on moving the vials. It was hard to focus on casting a spell when one was basically fighting to save their life but the girl somehow managed to levitate the vials to an area somewhere near the warning stone at the front.. but thanks to her momentary lapse in concentration, she ended up tripping over a branch and fell to the ground. Hard. Ouch, that hurt. But she barely had a second to recover when the Willow took that opportunity to aim for her head again. SERIOUSLY? She quickly got to her feet, ducking to avoid another branch. Also.. the sound of the icicles smashing.. crashing against whatever the branches made contact with.. was starting to make her cringe and grit her teeth with annoyance and frustration. Not important, Etta. Focus.

How to counter-attack this tree, though? She knew that she had to temporarily relax it's branches.. something simple but effective too. A freezing spell, maybe? Immobulus should work, yes? That was the only spell she could think of in her current situation anyway.. and besides, there was no time. The Willow seemed to be getting more and more aggressive so if too much time passed, she'd end up on the losing side. Taking a couple of steps back, she raised her wand and aimed it straight at the tree. "Immobulus!" She paused, watching the branches cautiously. That should work, yeah?
