Gaston had been ready to give up on seeing Narnia - or at least Kalen's version of it - when the librarian grabbed his arm and removed the barrier so they could both go through the wardrobe. He was a bit surprised but offered no resistance. "Thank you, Kalen," he said, giving the other man a look of gratitude as he let go of his arm. His bright blue eyes darted around his new surroundings. This was some impressive spellwork Kalen had used!

He listened as Kalen gave the students their instructions. The bit about dressing up as Mr. Tumnus got a slight chuckle from him, but he covered it up by pretending to cough. Now that's something he'd like to see! If he'd known about that sooner, he would've invited Kalen to crash his Halloween-themed lesson in full costume! But oh well, too late now...

Gaston shivered, wrapping his coat a little tighter around himself as he waited for the warming charm to take effect. Ah, that's better! His mind went back to the book as he wandered through the little world Kalen had created, making note of the approximate locations. If he recalled correctly, Mr. Tumnus's house should be that way... and this should be close to where Edmund encountered the White Witch. He soon found the refreshment table and poured himself a cup of tea before exploring on. Oh, if only someone had been able to create a world like this for him when he was a child, away from people like his father and the kids who bullied him in school! If he was Lucy, he never would've gone back!
