"The headmistress is looking really pretty tonight, too," he said, feeding off what Skylar had said about the librarian and healer. Of course, Brent was just a kid, but he'd always thought the headmistress had a good look to her. He wasn't sad at all that she'd managed to turn up at the same school he'd transferred to.

Niffler was last on his top ten list of patronuses? They were good protectors though, especially if it came to protecting shiny things. They would take the shiny things and not give them back, so a niffler patronus made total sense. Also, she kind of was curious what her patronus would be now. She smiled though when he admitted to it looking better, "Guess she's no niffler, huh?" in reference to the she being Madelyn. Because obviously that was why he didn't think it would be a niffler, right? "I wonder what mine would be. You know you're going to have to help me work on mine now, Mr Champion."

Wait, what had she said? About the Ilvermorny kids? Where was she going with this? Suddenly though, as if her tongue was ahead of her brain, she just spouted out words, "Well, like... you two are nice. The other ones are kind of annoying and rotten and stuck-up." What? Where had that come from?

Glancing over toward the headmistress, again, at Brent's comment, she smiled, "Yes, I'd say so. She cleans up well. But I still can't believe she doesn't believe in hugs. Like, something must have happened to her to give her this no personal contact. I wonder what it was."
