Jer's gaze followed hers to see that little Brit kid whom he knew had somewhat of an obsession with Valerie. "It's totally pathetic,'' was his response. "I mean, come on. Valerie won't give him the of day.'' Meaning, she won't pay any attention to him.

"Come on, baby. Let's dance.''

And he pulled her close to him, smirking.
