Kane didn't want to SERIOUSLY use this love potion on anyone - but he DID have a fun idea in mind for testing it, and thankfully someone had agreed to be in on his little idea. Hehe. First things first, though - he had to actually MAKE it. And he had to make it well, otherwise...well, he didn't want to think of that.

He pulled out his notes, where he had written all the ingredients as well as the steps from his textbook, and consulted it quickly.

SPOILER!!: Textbook
Ingredients
8 flower heads of sneezewort (seperate the petals beforehand)
8 berries of atropa belladonna
8 chopped leaves of Alihotsy (prepared beforehand)
One frozen ashwinder egg broken in 8
8 tea spoons of powdered moonstone
All the thorns of 8 roses
8 drops of salamander blood
8 table spoons of peppermint

Instructions
Prepare the sneezewort, alihotsy and moonstone.
Fill the cauldron with purified water and add the sneezewort petals
Light a fire under the cauldron and set it to maximum
Add the heads of the sneezewort
Stir 8 times clockwise with a metal stick
Add the berries of atropa bellandonna one by one
Sprinkle Alihotsy leaves in a circle in clockwise direction
Wave your wand. The colour should turn to dark red
Wait for 25 minutes for pewter cauldrons, 13 for brass and 8 for copper
In the meantime, break the egg into 8. If you break it into more pieces accidentally, get another egg.
When the time is up, add the egg parts
Stir vigorously clockwise with a metal stick until the colour is purple
Sprinkle the moonstone in the middle of the cauldron
Throw all the thorns in quickly
Add the drops of salamander blood one by one: with each drop, observe that the potion turns to its distinctive mother-of-pearl sheen.
Add the peppermint spoon by spoon. Stir clockwise with a metal stick slowly until it dissolves.
Wave your wand again.
Put off the fire when you see the spiral steams and smell its aroma.

Alright, time to start with the sneezewort. He hoped that name didn't mean he'd be all...sneezy from it. Although that was highly likely, especially since his allergies had been on the fritz ever since moving here. He counted out eight flower heads and then took them back to his station, carefully separating the petals. He whistled happily to himself - mainly to make time go by faster, because this was borrrring and tedious. His nose did get a little itchy from working with all this stuff, but nothing he couldn't just wrinkle his nose to get rid of. He put all his flower heads to the side after he separated them, but still kept them separate - just to be sure he kept track of how many he was using. So essentially he had eight little piles of sneezewort. Nice.

Next, he took the moonstones and added them to his mortar and began to grind away at them. This was always one of his LEAST favorite parts. He had muscles for sure from gymnastics, but he still had to really work in order to grind it. Which made sense, because they were ROCKS and he had to make them POWDER. After what felt like ages (but was probably more around 15 minutes) he had a sufficient supply of powdered moonstone. He pushed it aside so he could use it later.

Finally, the alihotsy. He grabbed his cutting board and a knife and took the eight leaves he had gathered and got to chopping. Kane wasn't super good with chopping things - he was always more of a baker rather than a cook, and baking didn't usually require such fine chopping. Still, it was faster than crushing the moonstone. A few moments later, he smiled at his pile of chopped leaves and pushed that to the side as well. Everything was chopping and crushed and whatnot - time to move on!
