Post #2 Slytherin by heart Kyle made his way over to where his kneazle was being kept and smiled as he approached. She was sound asleep in her cage! He opened the cage quietly hoping not to disturb her, but she looked up at the noise and mewed anyway. He gave her a soft smile. "Hi Honey. I love the way you look today." In the times coming here, he had noticed her fur was starting to become less fluffy. And now she was fairly sleek with a noticeable lion-like tail, rather than the fluff it had been.
He cleaned out her cage, put in fresh food and water, and made sure everything was tidy for her. She had started walking around in the cage, letting him fluff her bedding a little bit. Then, he pulled a new toy out of his pocket that he had transfigured (with a lot of practice) out of a piece of parchment. It was a stick that held a string attached to a feathery end. He dangled it in front of her and was pleased to see her batting at it. He picked her up and carried her out to their designated play area.
Setting her down, he dangled the feathery end at her and watched as she batted and pounced at it. He started moving it around him and she followed it, sometimes pouncing and pulling it into her paws, biting it. Whenever she was done, he would move it again and the cycle would start over.
When she seemed to be done with the toy for the moment, he picked her up and made his way back into the cage with her. They had played for a good while and she seemed tuckered out. He placed her on the bedding and pet her until she laid down and curled up. He smiled and scratched behind her ears a bit before leaving and closing the cage behind him.
