She was not satisfied with her first throw and determined to do better for her next turn. Ava stepped back from the throwing arena to create another dagger. She wasn't sure if they were allowed to create more than one and then toss it together so... Let's just focus on making one first.
From the smoke nearby, the Gryffindor focused her mind thinking about what kind of dagger she wanted to create, drawing a circle around it with her wand and cast the spell. "Fumus Lamina!" And there, a sheathed dagger appeared and ready to be thrown. Ava went back to the throwing arena and waited until it's her turn. Observing which circle that she should aim, she took a deep breath and threw the dagger to the red circle. Hopefully it wouldn't change its color.
And she did it! She earned 7 points which was... good.
