"I can not allow you to take it with you but if you'd meet with me after the lesson is over we can discuss keeping it somewhere else for you, if you'd like." Perhaps they can make a special case for it together using Transfiguration and keep it safely in the Transfiguration Practice Room if she wanted to use it there from time to time.

Still feeling badly about upsetting one of her students the professor had to keep herself in check and finish the lesson. After the lesson was over she would check-in on Olivia to see if she was alright. Anything she could do to avoid discomfort to her students during her lessons she would do but it was difficult with Transfiguration.
Right now her attention had to return to the other students. So far all was well and she had to hand it to those that were forming daggers without much trouble. "You're doing wonderful everyone! You have about fifteen or so minutes left before this activity is finished." Awwww. They can't keep them? Vivian sighed but looked up and gave the woman a "
thank you, Professor," before moving on to create another dagger. This time, she didn't even want to make it intricate and detailed. If they were just going to toss and throw the daggers, there was apparently no need to make it look that good.
The blonde went towards a fire-pit and took her wand out again. Yup, this was probably going to be just an ordinary dagger. "
Fumus Lamina..." the Slytherin, with her wand circling the smoke. She focused on getting a rather ordinary and normal-looking dagger, or perhaps maybe even a plastic one. And because she was too indecisive, the dagger and its sheath appeared to be a hybrid of both metal and plastic. Vivian blinked at the result of her spell work, but shrugged when she reminded herself that they'd just toss it anyway. She made her way to the end of the line.
And she had to wait. Once it was her turn again, Vivian observed the changing colours. The blonde waited for one of the circles to turn green before tossing it towards the hole. And... YES! She had earned four point for her house. Pretty pleased with herself, Vivian went back to create another dagger.
This was kinda exhausting, really. And that Gryffindor girl who had left? She felt a little bad that she cried, even when Vivian didn't know the reason why.
