Was it just her or did it not take very long for her to end up at the front of the line? It felt like she'd only just run off to get herself another dagger and now her she was at the first line again, ready to take aim and hopefully win her house some points.
Last time when she'd aimed for the blue, it landed on green....which gave her a little insight despite the erratic movements of the colour.
Basically, it wasn't likely to help if she aimed for the one she wanted. That was the theory and she would stick to it until proven otherwise. That being the case, Jessa took aim at the yellow, believing completely that there was no way in Merlin's beard the dagger would actually hit it.
The Ravenclaw locked her gaze on the target and reminded herself at the very last second that she would have to keep her eyes open. Sadly, the moment the dagger left her hand, they clamped right shut, too anxious about the results of her throw. A part of her was confident it had not hit the yellow but another part of her worried it might have landed on Slytherin a second time!
Currently, most of her friends were Slytherins but it didn't mean she was trying to help them win the House Cup, jeez!
Slowly, she pried her eyes open, the anticipation building, but it all fell flat when she realized the dagger DID hit the yellow mark for a whopping 10 points. How even and WHY???
Was this even legal??
