Jessa and Stasya Gryffindor for life Notorious Niffler
It was WAY too cold out here. Emmeline had several layers on under her Hogwarts robes, AND her charmed winter cloak on, and gloves and a Gryffindor scarf AND a hat, and it was still too cold! Divination was usually an inside lesson, and Emmeline would have preferred that it stayed that way when there was snow and coldness. Plus, they were by the lake, which meant lots of icy breezes that were bad enough to pass through on her way to the barn and nursery, thank you. Her face brightened at the sight of the huge fire; not only would that provide more warmth (yay!), but her wand was supposed to be particularly good at fire spells. Not that they usually used their wands in this class, but she could always hope. After greeting the professor and Professor B, Emmeline made her way over to Jessa and Stasya as usual. She smiled and was just about to say hi to them when Professor Vance started the lesson. Guess she'd been barely on time -- oops.
She did hear the Divination professor answer Jessa's question, and noticed how Jessa had backed up from the smoke a bit. She flashed back to a recent Transfiguration lesson they'd had that involved smoke, but Jessa had been okay with it then. The Ravenclaw must have some problem with real smoke, and Emmeline frowned in concern. If real smoke was a problem for her, surely the professor could make magic smoke like Professor Stewart had? "You okay, Jessa? Is it the smoke?", she asked the older girl quietly.
What did she know about pyromancy? Well...: "One kind of pyromancy is looking for fire-omens, or specific signs in the flames that predict the future." Right?
