"Thanks! They belonged to my mum. Very vintage," she said with a giggle. And speaking of those shoes... she gave her foot a little wiggle for effect. They were her favorites... and her dad was likely going to have heart failure when he discovered just how much of her mum's old things she had pillaged, but she'd deal with that when she had to.

"Push me around the dance floor, Head Boy?" Casper wouldn't mind. Also, she got the impression that he was just about as miserable as she was, so you know... Misery loves company and all.
With a smile, Rooney properly checked out the shoes on the feet of the Gryffindor. "They look like they belong in a glass case, Miss Dora." But honestly, Rooney thought that about a lot of shoes...probably something he had gotten from his mother who did have shoes in glass cases around their Paris home. He couldn't quite promise a push around the dance floor, but he did offer his arm and then led Dora out into a free space.

"I was worried you weren't going to show tonight." He hadn't thought a few people were going to show, but apparently...they had. And apparently...they were set on doing strange things to his head. Maybe he was getting sea sick... ever since he'd had some stuff from the buffet he'd felt a little bit wacko with his brain.
