Changing smoke into daggers.
It would be curious to know just how that spell had been created. Probably a story about somebody being in danger and that someone needing some sort of protection out of nowhere. But one didn’t normally think of daggers when you saw smoke. At least it didn’t come right to mind for Cassie. Gas to solid…the smoke congealing into a dagger. Something innocent unless you breathe too much in to something that could cause harm. Cass took out her wand as directed and tried mimicking the wand movement as show by the woman with her own. The simple circle around the smoke seemed easy enough.
Fumus Lamina
She listened intently as Professor Stewart continued describing the spell and its requisite parts that they needed to learn in order to cast. The Ravenclaw copying the information on the board into her notes for further reference. Now the incantation…usually the trickier of the two given that miss-pronunciation could cause troublesome issues. “Fumus Lamina… FUH-mus LAWH-meen-ah… Fumus Lamina…FUH-moos LAWH-meen-ah.”
Now if she just put it all together.
