Oh what was this one fo-- o___________O
Jessa allowed herself to be pulled back by Cameron, much too startled to really think of a reaction on her own. "D'you.....d'you think it was something we touched...?" Because while they'd been touching, they hadn't actually pushed any buttons or moved any levers. It didn't make sense for a noise like that to come out of nowhere. Unless down here WAS run by magic.
Welp! "Are we moving...? Are we sinking?" The young girl remained as still as she could manage, trying to feel for any movements on the vessel. Someone tell her they hadn't just sunk what must have been a very expensive ship. Cameron stared at the machines in front of him as if he expected them to give him an answer to their questions. Naturally, they didn't. Because they were machines. Not able to, you know, speak. Or write. Or communicate with humans in any way. Apart from the BANG of course. Which had been just a tiny bit concerning. "Did you touch anything?" He turned his head and looked over at Jessa, taking yet another step BACK and AWAY from the machine. "What did you touch?" Because he hadn't reaaaaally touched anything.
Okay. Maybe a little bit.
Holding completely still now too, he glanced around, trying to figure out if his balance was off or anything. "I don't....think....so...." But then again if you focused REALLY hard you always had the impression that you were in fact moving. But that was just it, right? It wasn't real. Had they broken the ship?"Maybe we should leave." He whispered, still holding onto her arm. Like, he didn't want to get in trouble here. And there was no one else around who'd seen them, right? |
