 SUMMER FOREVER
When the professor finally moved on to the mini-activity, Etta was already beginning to feel excited. Transfigurations spells were always very interesting to learn but difficult too.. and she wanted to be so good so that she could use them in self-defence as well. It was a tough ambition to have but practice makes perfect, right?
Now, the spell.. Fumus Lamina. She started to make circles with her wand, making sure she got the wand movement right. Simple enough. Now, moving on to the enunciation. "FUH-moos LAWH-meen-ah". That was correct, yeah? She cleared her throat and spoke clearly, repeating the spell a few more times. "FUH-moos LAWH-meen-ah, FUH-moos LAWH-meen-ah, FUH-moos LAWH-meen-ah." Once she'd practiced it enough, she went back to practicing her wand movement once again.. you know, just to be a hundred percent sure. She didn't want to risk messing it up.
... and finally she was done. Etta was confident that she'd practiced enough times so now it was time to move on to creating a dagger of her own.
