For a minute she was going to act just like Britta and see just how far she could get with him. Probably not too far, since it was Maddox. Not that she would get to know, since Madelyn spoiled the surprise. Never the less she was happy, as always to see her best friend Madelyn. She waved at her.
Turning back to Maddox, her smile grew bigger. "Of course, if we can't play for real money, what else are we going to play for?" She tossed the box of cards to him. "You deal." Smirking at him, this was going to be so much fun.
That smirk quickly faded, seeing her best friend kissing Maddox. THAT WAS HER ALLEN. Best friend what was that? "I wasn't betting on that happening."The look of utter shock was on her face. Madelyn liked Khalil, or so she thought.
Right after Madelyn left playing it off by playing slot machines. Okay, someone need to explain, but as soon as seen Khalil and Kathleen had joined them. "Thank you, Khalil." Blakeney pushed some hair back behind her ear. "And hello, Kathleen. Your dress is pretty." Was that Madelyn's problem? That was a problem.
Wait, Khalil thought that her best friend and her Allen was a thing? "They are not a thing." That idea was just.... insane okay? She tried and failed terribly to make that sound more like it was joke but it just made her face even redder. Blakeney glared, and finished off her gillyweed water.
Her and Maddox were still going to play poker right? Well after she when to check on her best friend. "Madelyn, what was that?"Walking over to the slot machine that she was standing at. Watch out they think they are water guns.
