At first it was a rush on the ground but soon enough Corena gained her wings and all at once they were airborne. “WoaH!” Cass let out in mild surprise before chuckling and revealing all was well with her to her mount. Not that she didn’t doubt their connection likely already shared it. Up they went above the trees so they could have a look at their choices, well her choices, from above. The Ravenclaw kept a good hold as she leaned ever so slightly over the sides of the Granian’s flanks for a better look, trying to decipher what would be best to look for.
Finally, she pointed to a spot that appeared as good as any for them to land and retrieve a tree. “There…” Cassie said aloud but the winged horse already seemed to get the message between her words and movements atop her back. Before long Corena’s powerful hooves touched solid ground once more and the fifth year took a few deep breathes to recover. She then hopped down and surveyed the trees in the immediate area, her gaze eventually setting on one off to the left of where they had landed.
Now to go about getting it down.
“Diffindo…” she cast once her wand was out, aiming to make the first cut to the base. The girl doing her best to plot out how to work to get it to fall right. She certainly didn’t want either herself or the Granian to get hurt in the process.
