Maybe he could invite her over over the holidays some time so she could meet them. "Your sister was a Beater too? Where? Here?" Had her sister also still been allowed to play Quidditch at Hogwarts?! How LUCKY!!!! And their plans for summer sounded AMAZING too. He'd have to ask if Hazel would go again too. "Okay. I'll tell my parents." So if they got into contact with the organizers they could already sign them both up.
Wait. Who'd posted about what? So she DID think that he should start a real work-out routine then. Interesting. "Genny...Tate?" He hadn't seen that.
But if that was still happening they should both totally sign up! A regular time to go running sounded like a good idea. Plus then they'd also meet some of the older kids maybe and they could help them out with extra things they could do for their arms. So they could hold the bats more easily. Not that he had problems holding his, of course. He got this.
But it COULD still be easier.
Heading in the direction of the Quidditch Pitch, Cameron nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! That's what I was thinking too. We'll do all three things last. Once we've perfected the flying and the swinging the bat parts. And maybe do hitting the balls on the ground first. But eventually we'll do all three." He had faith in her. Which was quite obvious but the way he was grinning at her. This was going to be G R E A T!
Jessa nodded enthusiastically at his question, not sure if she was more excited to have had someone who played Quidditch as more than a home hobby or the fact she could technically relate more to Cameron now. Both. It was probably both. "Yep, played for the Gryffindor team up until the year it got banned. She played against people who've gone Professional now and everything. I remember she was real upset the year it got cancelled, came home that Christmas ranting like the holiday itself had been cancelled." Back when she herself was still very young and couldn't understand her older sister's righteous indignation. Being older now and understanding the sport for herself a little more, suddenly the ranting made sense.
She grinned at him saying he'd tell his parents, because it made it all the more real. Like one step closer to actually having this thing happen and there was NO WAY she could be anymore excited than she was now.
Was it healthy to have so much running through her at any one time? Probably not but !!!!!!! "Yeah! Her! The Gryffindor. It's on the student bulletin board, we can check it when we get back to the castle. Maybe they'll let us join." It said it was for those super serious about quidditch and probably going on to do it professionally but maybe they wouldn't mind if she tagged along too?
Following alongside her friend, Jessa thought his game plan to be a brilliant one. At the very least, it would see her not falling off her broom too many times before she finally got the hang on things. Were there cushioning charms on the pitch? "You can teach me the other positions too, yeah? Over time?" 'Cause what if she sucked at beating but it didn't mean she'd be terrible at chasing or keeping--seeking wasn't on her radar at all. There was just no way. They could skip that one.
