And something the Ministry woman had said rang in her ears.

A gem. That was a new one. He noticed the frown on Dora's face and where she had been looking, so he reached over and covered her eyes with his hands. "It's over. Don't think on it now. Besides...people were too busy watching others." And having tantrums about said others like the two year olds they all acted like. It was irritating. Surely it said something if he, the one constantly picking apart the adults in charge of them, was fine with what had happened today.

Roo let Dora have her sight back again after a few seconds, giving a glance over towards the other competitors that were back now. How many weren't back yet? Hm..

"I don't know how Casper would take it if I made you blush, Miss Dora. Perhaps you shouldn't be so dedicated to being better than the rest."
