And now he was at least a little less upset about not being picked because there was no way that he would have been able to cast one as well as others had been able to...as well as Dora had been able to. That was still the one bit of magic that he struggled with. Perhaps he didn't have good enough memories. Or he just wasn't as great at magic as everyone wanted him to be. As he wanted to be.

All nitpicky things about himself that if he voiced, they'd be laughed off.

"I'm overly proud of you. Next time I'm bringing a banner with your name and face on it instead of all this food."
Dora certainly hoped he was right. For real. She'd hate to have gotten through all of that mess only to get eliminated after the first round. And she appreciated his confidence in her. It made the Gryffindor smile brighter than before. "You're a gem, Rooney. "

As she watched Rooney she couldn't help but giggle. As of yet she was the only Hogwarts champion to have portkeyed back. MAN. MAN. Where was Levi? Her eyes swept the screens and she gave a slight frown. Had they all been projected up there for people to cheer and jeer at them? That made her skin crawl a bit. Reminded her of an old OLD book she had read once. Put a bunch of kids into an arena and let them duke it out.

Okay so it wasn't a dystopia type thing, but still, that's what it reminded her of. Heh.

"Stop or you're gonna make me blush, " she said as she finally opened the crisps and shoved her hand in the bag. Okay. Maybe she had worked up an appetite with all her rage.

And something the Ministry woman had said rang in her ears.
