The more the conversation went on, the more Paul had to deal with the VERY real fact that Rooney would be leaving at the end of term. And it made him sad. Why did students do this to him? "Well. You have a very clear knack for Herbology. I am not familiar with your charms work or your grades in that area, seeing as I'm not your head of house, so I can't tell you about Charms. But Dublin has a very good Herbology program. One of the best, really. When thinking about these things, it's important to think about location as well. If you really have no preference, of course." Paul added two packets of sugar and just a dash of milk before sipping. "Eh, it's a little lukewarm. I won't be offended if you warm it up," and he flashed Rooney a smile. "Charms might...be less specific of a degree to have, depending on what you want to do after University. Herboloy is so specific..." he sighed. "It might not be what one wants to hear, but...it's the truth." It wasn't like Herbology wasn't useful or able to adapt, but....it wasn't like Charms. Dublin, hm? "Just Dublin, Sir? There aren't any others that are great?" Being potentially pidgeonholed into one campus was hard for him to think about. And he loved to study Herbology, but...he could see where Professor Myers was coming from and the point he was making about career options. To take a moment to himself, the Head Boy went ahead and added milk and two sugars to his tea in silence. As he stirred, he thought and as he thought, he focused on the area by his feet. "Less specific is probably best if I don't know what I want, right?"
