It was quiet surprising that Skylar wanted to accompany her. She's just being friendly and wanted to know her more because they didn't talk pretty much. Probably the Slytherin girl thought that it was kind of weird but Ava tried her best to make this as casual as possible. Hence why she brought up about Noah.

"Oh, that's good." The Gryffindor nodded. "He is being home-schooled, right?" Because Ava didn't heard if the (former) Ravenclaw boy was transferring to another school. She should owl him sometime. Even though he and Noelle had broken up and she's her best friend, it wouldn't mean that Ava stopped befriending him, right? She perked up as Skylar mentioned a girl's name. Alani? So he had moved on from Noelle and it was good for him. "Oh... is Alani uh... his new girlfriend?" She asked curiously, but hopefully not to sound nosy.

"And how are you, by the way?"
