Question Teapot Occamy| gryphons&giraffes&goats,OH MY | chaser of the truth | flutiful❧ Isa took notes on everything that her classmates and the headmistress said about the rune Ehwaz. Interesting. It was cool how runes could have different meanings for different uses. Huh. Eiwahz was completely different from Ehwaz. Honestly, Isa sometimes confused the two, but they were easy enough to differentiate when you remembered the shape of each rune and the meaning of the rune. "What materials are best for carving runes?" Not an urgent question about the activity, just something she was curious about.
They got runic pendants, and they got to keep them! Isa took a wooden pendant from the box as it floated by her. She got her wand out and pointed it at the wooden pendant, saying the incantation while she pictured the M-shaped rune in her mind. "Intaglio Ehwaz. Intaglio Ehwaz. Intaglio Ehwaz." Isa repeated the incantation until she saw the rune with a golden hue on the pendant. Now it was time to activate it with the galdr. Galdrs were the most difficult part of runes for Isa. It was so hard to pronounce them and remember the whole chant. Putting her wand away, Isa touched the rune on her pendant. "Ehwo ehwo ehwa, eeeeeeeeeeeeehh what?" No, that wasn't right. Second try. Isa looked in her textbook this time to help her correctly say the galdr. This time she chanted, "Ehwo ehwo ehwo, e e e e h w o o o, ehwu ehwa ehwi ehwe ehwo, ehwo ehwe ehwi ehwa ehwu, e e e e h w o o o." That was better. After a few more tries, the rune glowed white. She had done it! What would they be doing with the runes next?
