Wowza! Relief was sharp but brief. No sooner had it become clear that his charm had worked than Clark had gone on to take him to Baker Street. If Levi hadn't been keen on finding a way out of the forest as soon as possible, he'd have taken the time to laugh. But what would have been cause for amusement in different situation translated as visible frustration now, making him pinch the bridge of nose and glare at the path that lay ahead.
It wasn't the path's fault, really. And it wasn't Clark's either.
Though the guy was trying to steer them elsewhere--a fact that would have been laughable, too, given how Levi was carrying most of his weight--he seemed to be perfectly capable of stringing words together to form a coherent sentence. Obviously.
Honestly, though--Baker Street.
Levi put on his best smile. "Actually, I know a shortcut to get to the nearest station and it's a little further to the right, mate--come on, I'll lead the way." said the boy casually, moving them both back to their previous path and continuing to pull through. The Dark Forest was not infinite, he knew, but right now it felt like there was no end to it.
