Emma smiled. She could tell the nice shopkeeper lady took great care of her kitties. The mention of baths made her giggle a little. "Yeah, my mom's cat doesn't like baths either," she said. Ooooh, so that was how Truffles got her name? Cool! "So she named herself then? Sound like a very smart kitty!" That made a lot more sense than a cat who like chocolate truffles!
Emma's smile grew even bigger when Truffles mewed and closed her eyes. So adorable! "Aww, sweet kitty!" She was glad to know Truffles liked her because making new animal friends was fun! After a few minutes of petting, she remembered what she was doing here and looked around the shop. "Are the other cats as friendly as Truffles?" she asked the shopkeeper.
