He barely held it together between letters from home, and this time... no cookies. Will gave his brother a doubtful look and shook the letter again just in case something fell out. Nothing. "I'm going to ask her. You better not be hoarding them for yourself. There's four of us got to share those packages."
And it was stupid unfair that his mother sent anything to Sean in the first place.
He pocketed the letter to take to Maisie. "This one is extra confusing. Like she holds it against you that you don't understand her but then doesn't really want to be understood. She's a mystery but resents it being pointed out. I think maybe she just doesn't trust anyone. I'll just find someone a little simpler to understand."
