That was mainly why she had left, that, and the fact that Annabeth had gotten sick. "personally, i might go with a nice set of gloves for Annabeth and Cordelia and maybe a dragon hide jacket for my new dig in Egypy this summer?" she offered as she walked up to her friend...well, she was just behind her grinning like a mad woman. Imogen was not there yet Laurel noted with a glance around the shop. Otherwise her dear friend would have waltzed out behind one of the clothing racks already with her arms full of clothes to try on and even item for Laurel. Hogwarts was just less she concluded after Imogen had left at the end of the last school year. The Monster business had gotten many good people to leave like Imogen and Justin.
Students had nearly died and the caretaker had died but she knew that Imogen would have still been there with her teaching, if her daughter hadn't gotten sick. Laurel was just looking at and contemplating the colour of some skirts hanging on the racks when Imogen's distinctive voice made her pause and turn on the spot with her arms open for a hug. Grinning she said "Hi Imogen, it's so good to see you." Taking a few steps away from the clothing racks and towards her friend with raised eyebrows she said. "Oh really? You think I should charm my trousers to look like skirts outside class and on dates. But see I haven't been on a proper date in months." Last one was with Viktor in Diagon Alley.
