Maesi clinged to her friend a moment longer, happy to see her, plus also happy to have a friend join her in an adventure. Yes, she expected to be updated on all the gossip. Was there any gossip? "What do you think about it here so far?" Maesi wasn't so sure she'd like to be transferred here, as old-fashioned as it seemed. But maybe there was some hidden secrets that she was missing.
