Since Daisy hadn't taken the hot chocolate or the treats on offer, she busied herself with removing her supplies and setting them on the desk in front of her. She raised her head as people filled the room, saying hello to those she knew and giving and kind of ignoring the ones she didn't know. She turned back to Lucy, finally, setting her school bag on the floor next to her feet, and smiled at her words.. "Toast and fruit. Could be better but you ate, at least." And now she was drinking hot chocolate which wasn't exactly food but -- well, it was something. "Oh, I've been meaning to ask, actually. Have you talked to Myers, yet?" And yes, she knew class was about to start but it hadn't started yet.
So it was probably fine.
She wasn't really used to sitting in the front row, so it was weird to hear someone address her from the back. Turning around, she rested one arm on the back of the chair and eyed younger Slytherin, a soft smile on her lips. Ah, to be that young. "We're not adults either. Our frontal lobe isn't even fully developed yet, as a friend of mine would say." She quickly glanced at her best friend and grinned; would say and did say, plenty of times. They were all children, as long as they were younger than 17. It was the law. She did, however, have a point about how sleepy some of their classmates were, but offering coffee at classes did seem a tad excessive. "I'm sure there are better ways to avoid that don't involve stimulants, but whatever floats your boat, I suppose!" Since Skylar, obviously, could do as she wanted and Daisy didn't care, not at all, she turned back around on her chair and shrugged at Lucy.
