Grasping the doorknob of the History of Magic classroom, Sophie attempted to twist it. Unfortunately, the bulky gloves on her hands were making it rather difficult to open the door. Sheshivered and ran her hands up and down her arms. "Brr," she moaned. "Why is it so cold today?" Her teeth chattered against each other, giving her proof that this wasn't just in her imagination. Trying one last time to turn the doorknob, she finally succeeded and the door flew open. "Yessss!!!!" She pumped her fist in the air as a flood of warmth enveloped her. "This feels so good! Maybe History of Magic won't be such a boring class today!"
For the past several days, she had been dreading having to come back because she was usually bored out of her mind. The warmth today, however, might just make the suffering worth it, especially if she could sneakily fall asleep at the back of the room. |
