They had to create a constellation, a myth, and shape now? Olivia liked the sound of that. Without anther thought, she turned her gaze back to her the parchment and began writing about the constellation that she would create. What could she easily construct a story from?Ah. She had it. The constellation would be a seashell and the myth would be about... She blanked on who it would be about. A girl? A boy? A sailor? A family? A ship filled with pirates? The possibilities were endless. She let her imagination and pen run wild.

Constellation name: Sliogan
Shape: Seashell
Myth: There once was a girl who lived in a small fishing village. She wanted to see the world but was promised to marry the son of a wealthy man. The son was a nice guy but she didn't love him. She had no interest of marrying him nor anyone at the time. One day, she saw a ship dock in their village. It was a magnificent ship decorated in so many beautiful, rich colours. The crew ran up the streets, telling wild tales of treasure and adventure. This grabbed her attention. She left the village and went to her home (located on the outskirts) and cut her hair so she could dress as a boy. So at night, she snuck onto a ship that headed out of her village. However, before she left, she found a seashell (a fan shape shell- the shape of this very constellation) and brought it with her as a reminder of where she came from and where home was. She took a piece of twine and bound the seashell to it, making it into a necklace.
The crew found her the next morning; however, it took them a while to realize that she was a girl. When they did find out, the captain stood up for her, informing the crew that she was his daughter who he had promised many moons ago to come and adventure with them. THe men respected this and the girl was treated with respect. Over the many months, she learned the ropes of the ship and became a valued member of the crew.
This girl grew up to be a great navigator and explorer. She sailed the seas fearlessly. She was kind to those that had nothing and kind souls alike but to those who weren't, they quickly became enemies of hers. However, she lost her seashell necklace during a male storm and her luck went sour.
Eventually her past caught up. Her fiancée tried to take her back to the small village for them to be married. She was captured and brought back to the village. On the day of the wedding, she escaped. No one knows how but apparently the captain from the ship came to save her. Though he wasn't a mortal man. He was the god of the ocean who was actually her father. He returned the necklace to her and let her go about her ways. Sailing the seas for eternity.
The seashell constellation is a reminder of this great story.
Taking her quill away from the parchment, she glanced down at the paper and nodded a few times. She was happy with the outcome of this. Good.
