You could say that Noelle had a way with animals, because she did. She grew up on a farm and was used to having a ton of animals around. It was a little bit of a culture shock when she came to Hogwarts and there weren't animals practically everywhere you went.

So this extra credit assignment was right up Noelle's alley. She received the letter that she was the proud adopter of a female bowtruckle! They were adorable and Noelle couldn't wait to find hers. Taking her time, she looked around at all the baby animals as she went to find hers.

Then.... there was Epiphany.

Noelle saw the little tree creature sleeping up higher on the branches. Noelle grinned but didn't move to wake her. She had, however, a little bow that she had managed to make that would be small enough for her head.... hopefully. She would put it on later.. when she was awake.
