For starters, she highly doubted that it was 'man-killing' because this was a school. Secondly, she didn't really care about seeing it, but at that point she had nothing better to do. It had taken her until October to get around to it, proving that it wasn't like she desperate to see something that her father recommended to her. After all, he wasn't really reliable in any way, shape, or form.
After walking for a short while, she reached what she assumed was the Whomping Willow and looked at it. Huh. She had expected something at least a little bit ... more, but was she surprised that her father's suggestion turned out in a disappointing way? Not really. She wasn't really disappointed, though, because that would require her to care about it. Which she didn't. At all.
With a sigh, Rhea began to turn back towards the castle. Plants were interesting. Not a lot of people agreed in her experience and she felt it an absolute shame. Sure, the mundane ones were.............less than entirely exciting but the magical ones were worth a second look. Take the whomping willow for instance. After an afternoon in the greenhouse, Jessa couldn't pass up the chance to see the whomping willow before she headed back to the castle.
Seemed she wasn't the only one who'd gotten the idea to see the tree today. "It's brilliant isn't it?" She said, taking no particular notice of the fact the girl didn't seem nearly as awed as she was. If she HAD, there may have been questions but as it stood, Jessa was of the opinion that anyone who walked all the way out here had a particular interest in this whomping menace. "I still haven't been able to make out if it's motion sensitive or sentient. I keep forgetting to ask Professor Myers and the book I've found on it didn't touch on that particular aspect. Weird, huh?" Blue eyes turned then to her company, as if properly seeing her for the first time. "What do you think?"
