Just as she came over, just as Khalil was offering his hand to her the professor came over. Madelyn through her pom poms behind her back and turned even redder than she already was. She didn't want to get into any trouble and she didn't want to ruin their feast. All of the sudden the chairs were being pulled out and they were being made to sit. She looked around at everyone before taking a seat. Her pom poms for now went to her feet.
Khalil started talking and Madelyn just watched as he tried to smooth things over. Ilvermorny spirit? Goodness, she wasn't sure about that, but if he said so. She'd never admit to the group she felt it was a bit much even for them because that wasn't fitting in and that's all she wanted at the moment was to fit in and of course look good in front of Khalil. "The Cheer club has been working on some cheers we could do if you'd like professor." They really hadn't practiced that much since shew as still trying to get the club going, but her and Blakeney could do some if needed.
Once the professor had moved away she looked at everyone. "She did say there could be dancing once this is over." That was a plus, wasn't it? She heard Khalil start singing and she giggled a bit, but her eyes looked toward the staff table. "You are going to bring her back."
