Watching everyone else in order to work out what to do was... actually a little more difficult than Abey had thought. Some people were catching balls all in their own house colour, others were catching anything but, and some were catching both. For a moment the thought struck Abey that perhaps it didn't matter which ones they were aiming for, but........ no, no, he DEFINITELY remembered there being a specific instruction.
... Well, it didn't really matter after all. It WAS only a game and only for this class, sooooooo he made a guess, and decided to do what HE thought was the most likely thing.
Red baaaaaaaaalls, here were come!
Decision made, he ZOOMED AHEAD AND INTO THE FRAY... and very quickly found that this game was much easier said than done. All of the red balls he aimed for? He ended up missing them entirely. The temptation to use his hands to catch them was sooooo stroooooong.
THUNK!
At last! Abey had - totally by accident but shhhhhhh - caught one! Nice!
Except one problem was that he couldn't see it so didn't know what colour it was.
And another problem was that, if he had managed to get a look at it, he would have seen that it was yellow, not red.
