Fluttery Pegasi Hadley shrugged at Jessa. "Hopefully the staff think I'm the right girl for that." She was...cautiously hopeful about her odds. She grinned and perked up as the Ilvermorny students starts to make their way to the Ravenclaw table. Before she could greet her fellow Americans, Kirk chimed in on the possibility of her winning. His confidence in her chances were a lot higher than hers and there was something sweet in that. "Thanks Kirk." "Hey Kitty!" Hads gave the prefect a wave, but was way to distracted by the new arrivals. Unbeknownst to her, Hadley's American accent thickened now that the Ilvermorny students were here, almost as if part of her, deep down, was overcompensating for something. She gave the first Ilvermorny student to arrive (Manuela) a wave, but before she could introduce herself, or ask the girl for her name, another girl (Madelyn) had joined them. "Nice to meet you. I'm Hadley." She grinned, slightly amused, and nodded. "Yeah, the temperature in Scotland takes some getting used to," she agreed.
Two more Americans joined them, boys this time (Deo and Evan). Evan introduced himself as well as his two friends, Manuela included. Hads smiled at the three of them. "Nice to meet you," she said, "Welcome. I'm Hadley." She turned to Evan and nodded. "Yep. That's us. The smart house. It can be a bit annoying sometimes when everyone else expects you to fit into that preconceived box perfectly, but we have to answer riddles to get into our common room, which is fun." What? She enjoyed riddles. "Anyway, Welcome. How are you liking Hogwarts so far?" She asked the group. "What part of the States are you from?"
