Deo was a bit miffed coming into the castle. He would say that his cousin was a BLUNDERING MESS as he always is, but deep down he was just stewing that his prank backfired on him. But far be it for the Serpentine lad to give up. He's got more pranks percolating at the back of his head mmhm.

But for now, this Great Hall. He's gotta admit-- that enchanted ceiling is impressive. It was a good thing that Manuela is tagging him along because he would've stopped at the doorway just staring at the magic of the ceiling, wide eyed and mouth ajar. He couldnt even see the ceiling! Thats how good the magic was.

He finally came to the conversation at this table, looking at the Hogwarts students around him. Ravenclaw eh? These lot were certainly calmer than the mosh pit of his cousin's table, to which he somewhat glared at for a bit. So noisy. So jealous.

But ultimately so relieved that for once he could actually have dinner that was sensible without the risk of a food fight erupting every so often. He glanced at the Ravenclaw girl (Jessa) asking about the music "Khalil? He's as loud as his head is big..." he quietly replied. So if she was into guys like that, well theres her man. Personally he didnt like Khalil at all. Oil and water as it were.

Conversations about the selection process was listened to idly. He was still smarting about that too. He wanted to be selected and rep his school, have a chance to leave his mark, be ICONIC, but that honor went to Kyle. Pffft.

His gaze lit up when Madelyn showed up at their table "Hey Madelyn." he greeted Maise's sister warmly. Familiar people got him to relax a bit more "Have you seen Maise?"
