So he missed the entire question being posed by Professor Vance - although somewhere in the back of his mind he was hoping it had to do with "true moles" of the Talpidae family in the order Eulipotyphla, just sayin' - but soon had his attention drawn to Jessa who looked as though she was about to pass out.
