Derf continued to try and tug himself free from the wall but it was pointless and really REALLY hurt. Eyes widening eagerly as he tried to turn his head towards the sound of approaching footsteps - which was a BAD idea, for the record - the Hufflepuff was incredibly relieved to see Xavvie approaching and, while he did not know her all THAT well yet, he was confident that she could save help him.
.......until she said THAT.
"AT ILL URT!" he protested with some subtle arm flailing as his eyes glanced towards the wand in her pocket.
