Hearing that some of the professors had added some new rooms meant that one by one, Professor Stewart planned on checking them out. Today's room was this one. Stepping through the doorway she walked forward taking in all the symbols along the walls, occasionally stopping to try to figure out what some of them meant.
It wasn't until she got future into the room that she noticed someone else was here. "Ah, hello, Mr Whittebrook. Find anything interesting yet?" she asked softly so as not to startle him. Had something specific caught his eye? Henry slowly walked through the corridor, his eyes scanning the rows of hieroglyphs written there. No, he couldn't read them but he still found them rather interesting and, if he had the patience, maybe he could figure out a general idea of a message. Some of the language was pictograms, right? At least that was how he understood it.
But he was also curious to see what was further down the corridor so he kept going until he reached a room with obvious Egyptian artifacts. Cool. His eyes transfixed on a grouping of canopic jars, he was just starting to walk towards them when a sudden voice made him jump slightly in surprise. Even if she might have been trying to not startle him, he had been so focused on what he was looking at that he hadn't even realized anyone else was in there with him. "Oh, hi, Professor Stewart," he smiled at the woman. Even after several years of it, he still found the formal address some of the professors chose to use with the students to sound strange to his ears. "Sure," he shrugged. "There's a lot of interesting things in here." And he figured anyone who hadn't been in here before would think that. "Have you been in here before?"
