Now Olly's attention turned to the pictures he was given. The phoenixes in the pictures were in various states of disarray. He could tell that some of them were much healthier than the others. Olly's eyes stayed on picture two and picture four a bit longer than the others. Those were the phoenixes that he would most like to paint, and probably would paint after this lesson was over. Of course painting with a model right there was a lot easier. Maybe he would have to visit Professor Wayland some time, if not just to paint his beautiful bird.
Olly glanced over at Henry and Char, wondering if they might want to work with him. But they were obviously going to work together and he wasn't sure how large groups were allowed to be. So he decided to just work by himself for now and check in with them if he couldn't figure it out. Luckily the activity didn't seem too difficult. He started by writing
Picture six on his parchment first. That phoenix had just been reborn so it was clearly still in the earliest stage. Olly laid the rest of them out in front of him, newest to oldest, and then wrote it on his parchment.
