~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. SPOILER!!: Mason! <3 Quote:

He didn't like asking for help unless it was absolutely necessary. Like when Dora had cursed his fingers and he had to get help from the Healer because he couldn't hold his wand. "Ah yes, last term was rather chaotic wasn't it?" he said with a sigh. He still couldn't believe he hadn't seen the monster with his own eyes.... Probably should not mention that part out loud... "At least almost everyone got out of the portal he said. "Apart from the tournament, i'm really curious about the Ilvermorny students" he said. "I wonder how much they are different from us or not cause when i came here from Durmstrang it was a drastic change" not only weather wise but classes as well. "It was that obvious wasn't it?" he laughed, not denying that he was searching for clues. Who could blame him though. He bet everyone wanted to get some more information about the tournament.
Smiling again, Kay nodded. She wasn't going to badger Mason to seek her help. She knew that if it was needed, he'd ask. "Chaotic and rather scary,'' she admitted in relation to the events of the previous term. "It's rather sad but the most important thing is that we eventually got rid of that monster.'' She shivered and this had nothing to do with the cold.
Kay listened with interest. "I think you adjusted well.'' She knew it would have been a big change but she did mean what she just said. "Oh, well their lifestyles certainly are different. I know for certain that we'll have to be mindful of some of the names we use to refer to something. For example, they say fries while we say chips. They say sweater, we say jumper. "Very obvious.'' Kay winked. "All will be revealed soon. I have a feeling that everyone is going to enjoy the challenges and interacting with the Americans. We need to show them our British hospitality is the best, after all.'' |
