Yay! She could help. She almost raised an eyebrow at Ava's reminder and was about to comment but held her tongue. Yes she knew that she had to wash her hands. Her dad had taught her that. With a nod and without a word, she headed to the sink and washed her hands twice with soap and water. Once her hands were cleaned, she dried them and headed back to the center of the kitchen where Ava was. "
