Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

Oh goodie, they could have another one! Jessa was two seconds away from asking someone else to loan her some of theirs since they were only dipping the wings in them but the Professor's answer worked too.

Just before skipping off to that desk, she spun, leaned over and took a look at Derf's potion. "Yeah, looks right to me." Light purple, mhm. "I'll be back, getting us a new tincture." And with that the Ravenclaw meandered around the varying desks and workstations within the room and made her way to the Professor's desk. She grabbed a new vial then hurried back.

Now where was she? Oh right, the wings. Jessa took two, carefully dipping them into the tincture before dropping them into the cauldron. "We said we were using two scoops of the pearl dust...yeah?" She remembered them saying two. Here's to hoping it didn't suddenly void the entire potion. She'd be properly frustrated at that one.

One scoop, then another. Jessa leaned slightly in the direction opposite her cauldron, watching the burning reaction as the two ingredients met. Knowing there was nothing to be done about it, the young girl simply waited for it to be done. "Huh. It doesn't say whether the remaining wings should be dipped. Guess not." Again she peered over into Derf's colour, knowing the difficulty he had discerning for himself. "Still on the right track, yup."

She considered his statement as she watched the burning in her own cauldron, turning it over and over in her head. "I guess that would make sense...yeah....maybe that's it but then how do we explain the leaves?" Definitely a lot of questions. Most that didn't seem to have an answer coming any time soon. With the last of the burning done, Jessa dropped another moth wing into the cauldron then proceeded to stir, first five counter clockwise one...two...three...four...five then ten in a clockwise motion. One...two....three....seven....eight...nine...ten. There!

Once she was certain the potion now resembled a silvery white colour, Jessa dropped the final moth wing then reached for the cheese cloth and draped it over her cauldron. She turned to face her friend then, ready if he needed any help while she waited out the five minutes with her own.
