What would he like? Did it involve flying? All these thoughts flew out of his head once a Professor appeared. Why wasn't he here like 5 minutes ago with the lizard on the loose? He could have been a big help.

What was he suppose to say in situations like this?

Jessa rose to her feet then, thinking the reptile had had enough stimulation for one day. "I'll get him back to his safe place, later Theo." And with that she headed by the Professor trying to get to the door. There were done here, yeah? Lizard captured, rescue mission accomplished? She could go now?

Tristan was just about to respond to Theo when he heard 'garden lizard'....and the lizard in that tank was as long as his forearm. This was not good. Not good at all. Blocking the door, he commented,"I don't think his safe place is with you, Miss Cambridge." He paused, "Hand me the lizard, now." He knew exactly what this young lady was doing to this poor creature now that she had revealed it's species.

"Experimentation on animals is not allowed here at Hogwarts. I don't know how long you have been doing this, but you must stop immediately. Miss Cambridge, I will be taking 5 points for being in the boys bathroom, and 10 points for experimenting on animals. If I find out that you are experimenting on anymore animals it will be detention...or worse." He paused, "I will also be speaking to your head of house to ensure that you don't continue your experiments. Animals are not our play things to do whatever we wish with them. They are creatures that should be treated with respect and care. Plucking a lizard out of it's natural habitat and making it far larger than it ever should be is not okay, and what would have happened if your engorgement charm made it explode? I am sure you would have just plucked another lizard without a single care." His voice was gradually getting louder. "You also attempted to take its free will away by casting a Fidelis charm on it, which I heard as I walked in. That is NOT how you get an animal to trust you. Cruelty to animals is not ok, and definitely not tolerated." That last bit he yelled. He took a deep breath. Normally, he was a pretty laid back guy but this was a huge no no in his book.

"As for you Mister Montmorency, I will be taking 5 points from you for aiding her in recapturing the lizard that shouldn't have been in her possession in the first place." He paused taking a deep breath and exhaling. If anything riled him up more, it was experimentation on animals. Altering animals was never ok.

"Now...again, hand me the lizard, and make your way back to your common rooms. If you are hoarding any other creatures I suggest you take all charms off of them and release them." Tristan waited patiently for Jessa to hand over the lizard. He hoped she realized how serious of an offense this was.
