Olly delicately picked up one moth wing and dipped it in the demiguise tincture before dropping it in his cauldron. He then repeated the action for a second one. When both had been added he took the pearl dust and dumped that in as well. He watched as the two ingredients reacted to each other, and the burning it was now causing on the surface of the potion. It looked...really cool. Why didn't all potions do something cool like that? Most of them were pretty boring. Add ingredient, stir, add, stir. Burning? That was cool. When the reaction had finished he added another wing.

He picked up the stir stick again and stirred the potion five times clockwise, and then ten times in the opposite direction. It was the exact opposite of what he had had to do earlier, if he was remembering correctly. That was kind of cool. What about the number of stirs was important? And what caused this potion to mirror itself? Interesting questions but ones that he mused over silently instead of asking aloud. He might look in some books later, if he remembered and if he actually cared enough.

After stirring, he added the last wing to the potion. That was the last ingredient. All that was left was the...cheese cloth, which was weird. Olly draped it over his cauldron and stared at it for a few moments before nodding. Alright, he was done then. Well he was almost done. The cheese cloth would stay for five minutes and then when he removed it he would be officially done. Olly glanced over at Noelle's station to see how she was doing.
