As she hadn’t sprinkled the dust on her paper, Cassie did as she was instructed. The dust reacting with the tincture-written note on the parchment and sparking just like the professor’s work had done. Chemical reaction indeed. Too fascinated by the reaction, the Ravenclaw merely listened to some of her classmates answer on the witnessed idea. It fit with something her father had shown her with one or two of his experimental works, though admittedly it was from more on the charms side than entirely potions related.
As for the potion, Cass was attentive, taking notes as the professor spoke up once more filling them in on its particular qualities. One hour, perhaps two doses and hours, unless using demiguise hair…silvery-white color if brewed correctly…can be used as invisible ink. All good things and added into her notes upon the subject matter, followed up with the list of ingredients and the potion’s recipe that were soon added to the board. And away they went to brewing.
“Scourgify,” she cast first and foremost on her cauldron to insure it was absolutely clean. Then “Aquamenti” to begin filling it with water and “finite” to end it half-way. The fifth year then placed it on her burner and set the heat to get it boiling.
