Yes, she had an appointment to visit with Professor Vance, but it was definitely not by choice. It wasn't anything against the Divination Professor, except the fact that she wasn't particularly fond of the subject, even if she had excelled in it last year. It was just that the nature of the meeting, well, Skylar was ninety-nine percent sure she knew why her new head of house had requested to meet with her. And she was also about ninety percent sure that she didn't really want to talk about it.
Her new head of house had said nothing in the moment, so why now? As an afterthought? It just seemed to be retroactive, something that she was also sure Mister McLeod never did. But then again, other than flying lessons, she didn't have much contact with him. So perhaps this could be a moment to shine with her new head of house? She was already on her list as an excellent student and even though she goofed up, maybe the meeting didn't have to be a bad thing. Maybe, just maybe, the fourth year snakette could turn it around into a positive.
Finally, she knocked on the door, and waited, wondering just how she was going to turn the light around.
