Katy was thrilled. Thrilled for her favorite class, thrilled to have another swing at this new professor, and thrilled to see all of her faves in one place. She bounced into the classroom and swung into the lab coat with enthusiasm, buttoning it snugly over her uniform to keep any splashback from ruining it. And then the professor got a broad grin. "Good day, Professor. It's almost sunny in here. Is it a charm?" Or just Katy's smile, because she was in a ridiculous mood.
As she slipped past Rooney, Katy poked at that ridiculous badge he'd managed to stick to his lap coat. Of course he did. Everyone needed to see his bling. "Mild prat behavior there, Head Boy. But I'm behaving. Pinky promise."
She parked her bag on the seat next to Oliver, bumping his books off into his lap with her hip. "Budge over, Lupin. You're only allowed one seat in here." And look. Phials already on the desk. Just waiting for them to explore. Katy dropped her chin to the desk top and stared at the phials intently. Class couldn't start soon enough for her.
