Potions was one of those subjects in which Skylar had a love-hate relationship with; on one hand, it was very hands on, but it had an awful lot of focusing involved. Not that Skylar minded focusing, because she could do just that when she felt inclined to do so. There was also the fact that Senior Professor Newton was no longer teaching them and while last year, she hadn't seen him much, she did feel strongly over his abilities to teach potions.
She wasn't so sure about this Professor Canterbury yet, but she guessed only time would tell.
"Good morning, Professor Canterbury," Skylar greeted politely, figuring it was best to not get off on the wrong foot. She then went to find a seat and set up her potion things.
